Photos are very helpful but not required.
- For plant problems, submit one photo that includes the entire plant and surrounding landscape and multiple closeups of the problem areas. Photos should include both affected and healthy tissues so a comparison with the “normal” plant is possible.
- For plant and weed ID, include leaves, buds, stems, flowers, roots, and fruits/seeds or as many of these features as possible. A single leaf is not enough!
- For insects, include closeups and pictures showing where the pest was found.
