Favorite Heirloom Tomatoes
Heirloom tomatoes are are direct descendants of the plants that over many generations produced outstanding fruit. Farmers would save seeds of their best plants year after year (seed saving). No hybridization. Heirlooms have a shorter shelf life and are less disease resistant than hybrids but make up for it in flavor, taste and color.
